For the past five years, we have supported many organizations that make our community and region stronger. We do this because providing support is a definitive way to live out our beliefs and help people.

Rutherford Country Commission on Aging
The Rutherford County Council on Aging is a network of dedicated professionals and interested individuals devoted to enhancing quality of life for our senior neighbors and their families through service, leadership, education, advocacy initiatives, and increased public awareness.
The Council connects senior health care professionals by furnishing a forum for professional development and community awareness. Through monthly meetings, senior health care professionals have an opportunity to share information on activities and best practices.
Likewise, seniors and interested family members may attend the monthly meetings to gain further insight on senior-related issues and resources in the Rutherford County community.
The MTMC Foundation was established in 1984 to support and promote the quality medical services provided by Middle Tennessee Medical Center and to raise and manage philanthropic gifts to further the hospital’s healing ministry. Contributions to the Foundation support direct care of the poor, education, research, new equipment and facilities.
The mission of the Alzheimer’s Association is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading, global voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care and support, and the largest private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s research.
Tennessee Association for Home Care
Tennessee Association for Home Care (TAHC) represents Home Health agencies, Hospice organizations, Personal Support Service agencies, Professional Service agencies, Home Medical Equipment companies and other individuals or businesses that allow consumers the choice of remaining at home for short or long term quality care. Providing care with compassion, TAHC member homecare companies allow people to receive care where they want it… in their homes, surrounded by their family and friends.

Women Presidents’ Organization
The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) is a non-profit membership organization for women presidents of multimillion-dollar companies. Members of the WPO take part in professionally facilitated peer advisory groups in order to bring the ‘genius out of the group’ and accelerate the growth of their businesses.
Murfreesboro Center for the Arts
The mission for the Center for the Arts, Inc. is to enhance the quality of our community by providing a variety of arts and opportunities that will educate and entertain people of all ethnicity, ages, and income levels. The Center for the Arts will advance art awareness through quality theatrical productions, musical performances, art exhibits, educational programs, life-long learning and community activities thus improving overall quality of life in our community. The Center for the Arts is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization.
Murfreesboro Breakfast Rotary
The purpose of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
- The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
- High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
- The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life;
- The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
Greenhouse Ministries offers life transformation as volunteers make themselves available to encourage and motivate clients, inspire them to dream, make better choices and needed changes in their lives, promote wholeness, and give back to others in the community. Greenhouse Ministries offers food and other assistance; adult education classes and tutoring; a men’s homeless housing program; a single moms’ housing program; job and housing referrals; job skill training; networking services, resources and advocacy; community involvement and service; thrift shop; and a bicycle program.

Comfort Ye Ministry/Heartland Baptist Church
This ministry seeks to meet the needs of those in need of wheelchairs, crutches and other medical equipment. The service is free of charge and available for anyone in need. The ministry also provides a source of food for those in need.
RutherfordCABLE is a local organization formed in 2009 to help women widen their professional and personal circles and connect with greater opportunities. Our Mission is Connecting Women And Opportunity.

Murfreesboro Exchange Club
The mission of the Murfreesboro Exchange Club is to promote healthy, happy families by reducing the occurrence and effects of child abuse and neglect. The Family Center strives to significantly reduce the occurrence and reoccurrence of child maltreatment in middle Tennessee. Even though its two main offices are in Davidson and Rutherford Counties, we serve individuals throughout middle Tennessee. Last year the Exchange Club Family Center’s prevention programs served more than 3,000 children and parents in 28 counties and four states.

Journeys in Community Living (formerly Rutherford County Adult Activity Center) is committed to supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in choosing and realizing their visions of where and how they live, work and socialize.

The Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability brings together and leverages programs, resources and organizations to protect and ensure the quality of life and independence of older Tennesseans and adults with disabilities.

American Association of Retired Persons (AARP)
AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that helps people age 50 and over have independence, choice and control in ways that are beneficial and affordable to them and society as a whole. Since 1958, AARP has been leading a revolution in the way people view and live life. AARP’s work reaches deep into members’ communities through support from staffed offices in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
