  • Our ideal candidates would be available to work an average of 30 hours per week and be able to travel to various cities based on skill set and available shifts.

Transportation Positions

Our mission at Senior Solutions Transportation is to provide superior, non-emergency medical transportation and care for seniors who can continue their daily routines and involvement in their community.

Our Drivers are trained to transport to and assist our clients to any form of medical treatment, appointment, or other scheduled event.

  • Required CPR/First Aid certification
  • Minimum of 1 year non-emergency medical transportation experience preferred
  • Experience with scheduling passenger pickups and drop-offs
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment; ability to lift in excess of 40 to 70 lbs
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass drug screen and background check per state and company standards
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and have proficient computer skills
  • Provides the client with prompt, effective, and appropriate care
  • Assists the client with entering and/or exiting the vehicle
  • Monitors the well-being of the patient/client and ensures the patient’s/client’s privacy and comfort
  • Ensures that all vehicle occupants (patients/clients, passengers, and crew members) are properly and safely restrained, while following all safety and compliance policies and procedures
  • Assures that all required and necessary equipment and supplies are onboard the vehicle and in working order prior to departure
  • Completes a vehicle safety inspection and turns into the assigned Dispatcher at the beginning of each shift
  • Operates the vehicle in a safe manner, starting and stopping the vehicle slowly and smoothly and complying with all applicable motor vehicle laws, rules, and/or regulations
  • Assures that all wheelchairs are properly restrained in the required restraints, but also that all wheelchair patients/clients are safely fastened in the wheelchair until the client is transferred from the wheelchair at their destination
  • Completes the patient/client care report and verbally reports confirmation of client’s arrival at the final destination
  • Assists with brand recognition activities such as visiting facilities, doctors’ offices, hospitals, etc. to pass out company literature and collateral
  • Communicates and coordinates with other Supervisors and the Transportation Management Team regarding day-to-day operations
  • Ensures all trips are completed to the client’s satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned
