The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 937 Herman St. in Nashville will host a job fair
from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23, for at least 17 employers seeking to fill at least 550 positions in Davidson, Bedford, Wilson, Sumner, Rutherford, Williamson and Maury counties.
The hiring event was originally planned for Jan. 16 but was rescheduled because of severe winter weather.
Employers include AAA The Auto Club Group, Centerplate @Nashville Sounds, Contemporary Services, DeVry University, Easter Seals Tennessee, Journey’s, Hilton Nashville Airport, Hospitality Staffing Solutions, Hotel Pro, IOS Staffing, Senior Solutions Homecare, Verizon Wireless, Fifth Third Bank, Walgreens, Marriot, GS4 and Volt. Openings include customer care representatives, event staff and security, custodial, barista, caregiver, assistant manager trainee, warehouse and other positions. Rates of pay reach $17 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
